After harvestinG his creative enerGy from the universe, the earth, tour and a few live performances, Runkus is ready to step out of his hyperbolic time chamber to debut a plethora of new sounds with a messaGe of pure balance & truth.

He warms the scene releasing with his precursor track “burn everything” produced by KRS Allen via soundcloud on December 6th.

This track makes siGnificant reference to the AlmiGhty, the present state of the education system and classism. the track features short excerpts from an interview with one of Jamaica’s renowned athletes, Usain Bolt; aired on one of Jamaica’s staple television programs “Profile” hosted by Ian Boyne.
beinG the complex artist that is Runkus, his aim is to Get his audience to increase their awareness on the issue of classism in Jamaica. He reminds us that althouGh we are all from different worlds we serve the same purpose, a hiGher purpose. burn everything is a preview of his musical project to be released in 2017.

Not one to define himself by Genre he Gives us a ranGe of creative expression on this project, musically and conceptually. Runkus displays his versatility by not only writing and co-producing all tracks but he also enGineered many of the recordinG sessions with the help of smartkid and majahlabel’s Kimani Smith. the project features a host of younG producers such as krs allen, iotosh and teflon/zincfence records amonG several others. We can expect to hear more tracks from the project as we roll into the new year.

The single artwork was done by the creative Genius Matthew “The Eyedealist” McCarthy, look out for visuals from this project to be released in the upcoming weeks.
