Ludmilla “Ludi” Muse was born in the “Windy City,” Chicago, Illinois to native Haitian parents. In front of the camera, on the stage, or behind a mic, Ludi developed a love for performing at an early age. Writing and performing plays for her friends and family fueled a spark within her already vibrant spirit, to pursue an entertainment career of many levels. Ludmilla attended John Robert Powers School for actors in Chicago, IL. She is also a graduate of Southern University at New Orleans, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Beyond her clever business skills and charming personality, “Ludi”, as her friends and family call her, encompasses many talents. She is an actress, singer, artist, author, radio/TV personality, and the list continues, as she is also a beloved mother to her darling son Mecca. Ms. Muse is confident in her abilities as an artist and strives for ultimate happiness. Ludi believes her art for communication is a gift that she has been blessed with. She intends to utilize her connection with life and its people to appeal to her audience and fan base. Her inspiration flourishes from life and all its beauty. Motivating peace and love through performing and entertaining, she believes is her destiny.
In 2007, Ludi was hired as a Radio Personality for one of Houston, TX most beloved radio shows, Pure Vybz Radio 90.1 FM KPFT. Also in 2007, Ludi produced and coordinated the SOL film festival in Houston, TX, in hopes to motivate struggling local writers and filmmakers, to continue to strive for their own happiness. Spring of 2008, she was casted for Caribbean Vybez and Brother 2 Brother , two European Talk Shows as a Host and Remote Locations Host. Both programs are to air in Europe and Central America to over 10 million households and subscribers. Caribbean Vybez aired on cable in Houston, TX to over 600,000 households from 2008 through 2010. Light it Up was Ludi’s 1998 debut into feature films and television. She was cast later in 2008, for the movie Rent a Car where she plays herself as a radio host. Her vocal talents are displayed on the soundtrack of the movie with the single “I Fell In Love With The DJ.” In 2008, Ludi created her own web series called The Spot TV. Hosting and producing her own show has allowed her to interview many celebrities like Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child, Treach of Naughty By Nature, Kendall Gill, and lots more.
Ludi has interviewed Reggae and Soca artists from Wayne Wonder, Ky-mani Marley, Damian Marley, Freddie McGregor, Elephant Man, Bennie Man, Lady Saw, Tanya Mullings, Machel Montano, and many more for both television and radio. Being a remote host has given her opportunities to interview on a broader scale with the likes of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee, and Hip Hop mogul, Russell Simmons.
Ludi’s son Mecca inspired and motivated Ms. Muse to write and publish her first children’s book entitled My Day at the Park. This book was an expression of the love she has for family and friends, as well as her philanthropic spirit to help children. Her dream, is to develop an after school program for underprivileged kids, providing better options for the youth. Ludi’s spiritual and well grounded individuality has supported her in life, giving her appreciation for life’s troubles as well as it’s blessings.
